Our Academic module is specifically designed for booksellers, like you, who deal with academic institutions, be it schools, universities, colleges and more. 

Such institutions will generally purchase their required reading books and textbooks from wholesalers, online booksellers or directly through the publisher. For you, the bookseller, it can be tricky to know which books will be on their reading list this year, or what they will be buying in bulk.

How does our Academic module work for bookshops?

With Booksolve.net, our PoS and stock management software, you can request the reading list or recommendations in advance, thanks to our handy letter templates. Once you know what books are on the school or university’s list, you can make sure you pre-order the required number of copies.

Within the system, you have the ability to flag titles as recommended, and you can manage the recommendations across multiple institutions, filtering by specific institutions, courses and lecturer details.
