Booksolve began developing software for it’s own chain of bookstores ( Bookland ) back in 1985 when it became obvious that to succeed in Bookselling a practical and efficient stock management system was essential. The software designed by Richard Elsley MD attracted a great deal of interest within the bookselling community and before long Booksolve was established in it’s own right providing software and services to the trade.

Today, Booksolve has numerous household names as clients including WHSmith, Blackwells, W&G Foyle, Magrudy Enterprises and ICA. All benefit from our mission which is to provide fast and efficient software solutions at reasonable prices.
